How can you become a METRO customer
Shopping at our stores is possible only after registering. The registration process consists in the issuance of a customer card for shopping at the METRO stores. For that purpose you have to present the necessary documents and an application form, filled in and signed.
The issuance of a card is completed with a visit to an employee from "Customer Service" or by a visit on your side to the employees from "Customer Entrance" at the METRO stores.
How is the issuance carried out?
Customer cards are issued after filling in application form. For that purpose it is necessary:
For companies:
- To present an original or a notary-certified copy of the following documents:
- Identification card, issued by the Agency for registration Entries (unified identification code);
- Certificate for LVAT (Law for Value Added Tax) registration (only for persons with a VAT registration);
- A court decision for the company registration;
- ID card;
- Company seal.
- The presence of a Materially Accountable Person (MAP) or a person, authorized by him/her to represent the company. The proxy does not need to be certified by a notary.
For agricultural producers:
- Presenting a license from the municipality and an ID card.
For self-employed persons:
Present the following documents:
- Identification card (unified identification code) or a BULSTAT registration;
- Certificate for LVAT registration (only for persons with a VAT registration) – original or a copy, certified by a notary;
- A document for paid social security installments as a self-employed person;
- ID card.
The goods, which you purchase at METRO can only be paid with a Customer card.
